Hidehisa (1551-1614)

Son of Hisamori, served Hideyoshi. He subdued the island of Awaji and
stormed the castle of Sumoto (1581), but was defeated in Shikoku by Chosokabe
Motochika (1583), and in Bungo by Shimazu Yoshihisa (1586). After the ruin of
the Hojo of Odawara (1590), he received the fief of Komoro (Shinano -- 50,000
koku).

Son of Hidehisa. In 1622 was transferred to Ueda (Shinano -- 60,000 koku).
In 1706 the family moved to Izushi (Tajima -- 30,000 koku) and remained there.

Served Hideyoshi and in 1592 received the fief of Iida (Shinano -- 80,000
koku). He sided with Ieyasu, and besieged the castle of Gifu (Mino). After
Sekigahara (1600) he was transferred to Tanabe (Tango -- 125,000 koku), and shortly
after built the castle of Miyazu, where he settled down. He served in the two
campaigns of Osaka (1614-1615).
In 1596 Takatomo had been been baptized by the name of John.
